Nov. 02:

Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, and escorted to Tamarind Tree Hotel for a stay of 2 nights.

Nov. 03:

Breakfast and at 10.00 a.m. Drive to David Sheldrick Orphanage where they take care of orphaned baby elephants. Visit the Giraffe Centre and Utamaduni Crafts Centre. Lunch at Tamarind, Karen Blixen’s former house. Dinner at Tamarind Brasserie.

Nov. 04:

Early breakfast and transfer to Wilson Airport for scheduled flight to Nanyuki Airstrip (08.00 – 09.00 hrs). Met on arrival and transfer to Sweetwaters Tented Camp. The camp lies in the heart of the expansive Ol Pejeta Conservancy with magnificent views across the plains to the snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya. You will be staying in the luxury Morani Tents for 2 nights.

Nov. 05:

Early morning game drive in the conservancy. Host to all the members of the Big Five; elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard. You will also have the chance to see some of the unique northern species found in the north of Kenya like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra and Oryx.

Back to the camp for breakfast and lunch. At 3.00 pm , further game drive including an optional complementary visit to the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Nov. 06:

After breakfast drive (140kms, 2.5hrs) to Samburu National Reserve to Elephant Bedroom Camp set amidst trees along the banks of Uaso Nyiro River for lunch.

Afternoon game viewing where in addition to elephants & lions you can expect to see the unique “northern species” reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra and the graceful long necked Gerenuk. (Selected drinks included)

Nov. 07 & 08:

Breakfast each morning among the local elephants. Morning (6.30 am) and afternoon (3.30 pm) game drives to see more of Samburu’s typically northern species.

The parks vivid colors and sharp contrasts between sky, bush and sand make Samburu a photographer’s paradise. All meals and overnight.

Elephant Bedroom Camp

Nov. 09:

Breakfast and at 8.00 a.m. transfer to Kalama Airstrip for flight (09.15 – 10.15hrs) to Chui Lodge located at Lake Naivasha where you will have 2 nights stay.

Included: Wildlife Conservancy fees. Soft drinks, mineral water, beers & house wines. Exclusive use of the Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary for day & night game drives. Guided bush walks. Visit to the Oserian flower farm, Boat trip on Lake Naivasha, Bush Breakfasts and Sundowners. Limited laundry included.

Nov. 10:

This morning’s breakfast will be by the lake, or in the garden area, in a lavish setting. Explore the surrounding area that has many different species of beautiful birds. After breakfast, you will be taken on a boat ride around Lake Naivasha, then back to the lodge for lunch. Relax by the pool , or take a hike or nature walk until time for the sundowner. Horseback riding is available at an additional cost.

A bonfire awaits with the staff serving appetizers and cocktails. A game drive back to have a gourmet dinner prepared especially for us by a renowned chef.

Nov. 11:

Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight to Governors Camp (10.00 – 11.15 a.m.) and Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

Home to lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, impalas and gazelles. Met on arrival at the airstrip by Governors camp’s 4-WD Land cruisers and transferred to the camp or lunch and a stay of 4 nights.

At 3:30 pm, and the following days, you will go on morning (6:30 am) and afternoon game drives in this 1800-sq-km game reserve of rolling plains, woodlands and rivers that make up the Maasai Mara Triangle, one of world’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. You will also visit the Mara River to look for crocodile and hippo. Laundry is included. All meals and overnight.

Governors Camp offers a hot air balloon safari for an extra fee.

Nov. 12 – 14:

6.30 am early morning game drive. Return for breakfast at around 9:00 or choose to stay out until lunch. A picnic breakfast will be served by your driver while out in the bush.

This is a full hot breakfast with eggs, meats, fruit, pastry, and drinks. I recommend this if you want to stay out to see more animals and other game viewing. If you select to return for breakfast, you will go out on another game drive around 10:00 am and return for the 12:30 pm lunch. Lunch is served outside. Relax in camp until 3:30 pm when you will go out on another game drive. Back in camp around dusk.

Dinner is served around 7:30 pm. Wi-Fi is available in the lounge at no charge, but it can be spotty in this outlying area.

Included in your stay at Governors Camp: soft drinks, selected beers, house wines and selected spirits, teas, coffees and laundry services.

Nov. 15:

After breakfast, transfer to the Airstrip for your flight (10.45-12.00hrs) to Nairobi. Met on arrival and brought to your day-rooms at Ole Sereni Hotel, located next to Nairobi National Park until 6.00 pm. Later, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your departure flight.

$2,000 Single Supplement

A deposit of $5000 per person is due when making your reservation.

CANCELLATION CHARGES:

  1. Between your initial deposit date and January 1, 2026, your deposit is fully refundable.
  2. Between January 2 – 129 days prior to date of stay 10% of the total cost will be charged.
  3. Between 130 – 89 days prior to date of stay 30% of the total cost will be charged.
  4. Between 90 – 59 days prior to date of stay 50% of the total cost will be charged.
  5. Between 60 – Arrival date ( No Show) 100% of the total cost will be charged.
